Summer Harrison
Travel Specialist

Summer is a Disney-lovin’ mother of four from Oklahoma. Growing up, Disney movies were a part of Summers childhood. She grew up watching Disney movies and couldn’t wait to share her love of the Walt Disney company with her own children. When she’s not enjoying herself at a Disney destination, you can find her at home with her husband, Bryan, and their children Paisley, Presley, Patton, and Pierson. Two of her four children are deaf and wear cochlear implants but that hasn’t stopped them from enjoying all that the Walt Disney Travel Company has to offer.

Summer had been referring all her friends to Inspirely Travel for their vacation needs, so when the opportunity to join the company presented itself, she didn’t think twice. She is passionate about helping families plan vacations catered to their needs and preferences. She is honored to be a member of the Inspirely Travel team and considers it her privilege to help families plan their magical vacations.

Magical Tidbits…

  • Favorite Disney Memory On our most recent family trip to the Disney World, my mother and I were taking pictures of my two sons while we waited to meet Peter Pan. The boys were dressed as Peter Pan and Captain Hook and a PhotoPass Photographer approached us and asked if he could take some pictures of the boys. He took the most creative shots and just as he was taking photos of my son, Patton, Peter Pan came out from behind a door and jumped in the picture. It was the most spontaneous surprise and the smile on my son’s face was the biggest I’d ever seen.

  • Must Do I have two things that I beleive are must dos for anyone visiting Disney World. The first thing I tell everyone to do is to eat at Cinderella’s Royal Table at least once. Eating inside the castle is a magical experience and the food is spectacular! My second must do is to watch the Happily Ever After fireworks show at night. It is a beautiful show projected off of Cinderella’s Castle. This is an absolute must every time I visit the Magic Kingdom. Keep an eye out for TinkerBell!

  • Favorite Time to Travel I always take my family in the spring sometime during the last week of April and first week of May. It is one of my favorite times to go because it is not too hot or crowded,  and Epcot is hosting the Flower and Garden Festival. Epcot is one of my favorite parks and I love the beauty that the colorful flowers and Disney themed topiaries bring to this special park.

  • Favorite Quick Service My absolute favorite quick-service spot is Pecos Bill’s in Magic Kingdom. The nachos here are a must-have and are big enough to share which makes it a great value! Make sure you grab an order of churros with chocolate sauce to end your meal with something sweet!

  • Favorite Character Dining Storybook Dining at Artist Point is the newest character dining experience and is not to be missed! This meal is a special treat because it is the only meal that gives you the opportunity to meet a Disney villain. A dinner here will give you the opportunity to meet Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and even the Evil Queen. The characters here are so fun and the whole experience is interactive. Not only are the characters great, the food is delicious too. To top it off, you will finish your meal with beautiful and delicious Snow White themed desserts that everyone will love!

  • Favorite Spot to Capture a Magical Photo Nothing beats that popular picture in front of Cinderella’s Castle, but some of my favorite photos are of the simplest backgrounds without my kids’ knowledge that a picture is being taken. I love being  able to capture the look of awe when they are taking in all the Disney magic that is happening before their eyes.
